Invisalign uses a series of clear aligners that are custom made to fit your teeth and they look like a very thin transparent gum shield. The virtually invisible aligners are changed every 2 weeks and gradually reposition your teeth into a beautiful m straight smile. Treatments times vary but are typically from 6 months to a year. Studies have shown that invisalign are better for hygiene as teeth are easier to clean than metal braces.
Treatment with Invisalign has significant advantages over traditional "train-track" braces:
How are Invisalign invisible braces made?
On your first visit we would ask you to come in for an appointment, so we can do an extensive examination and diagnose what treatment you require. We will then take highly accurate impressions of your teeth, this will determine us to construct a precise fit for your clear invisible braces. In addition to the usual impressions taken of the teeth to make the plaster models, a set of highly accurate impressions are also taken.
The impressions of your teeth are then reproduced digitally enabling us to plan precise movements of the teeth into a digital format, this generates clear braces also known as aligning trays.
A series of clear braces are made and your braces will be checked every 2 weeks and your new braces fitted
